Summary :
We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Service Technician to join our client's team in Fresno. In this role, you will be responsible for the inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of water-based fire sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge systems, and fire pumps. You will ensure compliance with NFPA 25 and Title 19 standards while preparing detailed inspection reports.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct inspections of water-based fire sprinkler systems in accordance with NFPA 25 and other fire protection system guidelines.
Perform Annual and 5-year inspections on water-based systems and fire pump equipment.
Inspect, test, and maintain fire sprinkler systems and components, including water flow and tamper switches.
Troubleshoot and repair defective components of fire sprinkler systems, pumps, and pump controllers.
Utilize various hand and shop tools for system testing and repairs.
Ensure accountability for tools, parts, and materials required for assigned tasks.
Provide both routine and emergency services, including participation in after-hours on-call rotations.
Operate and maintain assigned vehicles, ensuring cleanliness and safe operation.
Prepare and submit work documentation and inspection reports.
Adhere to all safety and environmental standards.
Work independently or collaboratively as part of a team.
Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required.
2-3 years of experience servicing fire sprinkler systems with expertise in 5-year inspections.
Familiarity with applicable fire and building codes is preferred.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable DMV record.
