Job Description
The candidate for this position would be responsible for the accurate ordering, storage, and monitoring of company inventory while maintaining a high level of customer service. He or she will collaborate with department leadership to limit the storage of excess inventory; identify slow-moving inventory and recommend actions to address these issues. He / she would assist in inventory location assignments, managing inventory counts, investigating descriptions, and the verification transfer process.
Job Requirements :
Good understanding and basic knowledge of a warehouse environment
Keeping accurate records of inventory levels and location for easy retrieval
Maintain accurate record of all stock transfers
Good oral and written communication skills
Knowledge and experience in inventory control and / or process improvement
Ability to handle intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, lifting and maneuvering material or equipment
Able to function in a working environment is comfortable atmosphere with irregular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, and / or loud noise, which may cause noticeable discomfort
Ability to work well with others : A 'team player' attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed
Time management skills; strong organizational skills; an ability to juggle multiple tasks; flexible and resourceful
2-5 year of relevant experience is recommended
Able to lift up to 50lbs
Must be able to able to read / speak English.
