Job Overview :
We are looking for a skilled IT / Web Developer to join our team in Hicksville, NY. This in-person role requires a candidate based in Long Island, NY , who can manage our website, optimize digital experiences, and support the technical needs of our event operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing our web presence while ensuring smooth IT operations for both virtual and in-person events.
Key Responsibilities : Web Development & Maintenance :
Design, develop, and maintain the company website and event landing pages.
Implement UI / UX improvements to enhance user experience.
Optimize website speed, security, and performance.
Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility.
Integrate third-party tools (ticketing, CRM, payment gateways, etc.).
IT Support & Event Technology :
Provide technical support for virtual and hybrid events.
Set up and manage event registration platforms, livestreaming, and online ticketing systems.
Troubleshoot IT issues related to event software, hardware, and networking.
Ensure cybersecurity measures are in place for all digital platforms.
Digital Marketing & SEO :
Work with the marketing team to optimize website content for SEO.
Implement analytics tools to track website performance and event engagement.
Assist in email marketing automation and database management.
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, WordPress, and CMS platforms .
Experience with SEO, Google Analytics, and digital marketing tools .
Knowledge of event management software, live-streaming platforms, and IT support .
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced event environment with tight deadlines.
Must be located in or near Long Island, NY, and able to work in person at the Hicksville, NY office.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience in the event or entertainment industry .
Familiarity with ticketing platforms like Eventbrite, Cvent, or Ticketmaster .
