Client, a renowned intellectual property boutique, seeks to hire a highly qualified mid-level to senior level Trademark Attorney, with a portable book of business of at least $200,000, to join our Trademark Practice Team.
GENERAL SUMMARY
The ideal candidate will have 7 years' experience in managing U.S. and international trademark portfolios with specific experience in trademark clearance, prosecution, investigations, and enforcement, as well as a portable book of business of at least $200,000. Candidates should also have strong academic credentials, excellent legal writing skills, and be highly organized and detail oriented.
QUALIFICATIONS
7 years' experience and in-depth knowledge of trademark counseling, clearance, prosecution, and portfolio management
USPTO and TTAB experience
IP transactional experience
Superior academic record, excellent written and communication skills, strong attention to detail, and strong analytical abilities
Highly motivated and results-oriented
Thrives working independently and in a team environment
Good standing in the bar(s) where licensed to practice law
Sufficient portable business (minimum $200,000)
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
Trademark and copyright counseling, prosecution, and litigation (including litigation before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board)
Domain name disputes (both in court and ICANN proceedings)
Online Enforcement
Licensing
Global brand enforcement
