We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manual Machinist to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating manual machines and fabricating metal parts with precision. Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate manual machines, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders, to fabricate metal parts according to specifications.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to determine machining requirements.
Measure, examine, and test completed parts to ensure accuracy and adherence to design specifications.
Select appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds for machining operations.
Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols and company guidelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to machining processes and equipment.
Collaborate with team members and engineers to improve machining processes and product quality.
