We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Estate Planning & Estate Administration Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in estate planning, administration, and probate law. This position involves drafting estate planning documents, assisting in court filings, and managing a variety of estate-related administrative tasks.
Responsibilities :
Draft estate planning documents including wills, trusts, and related documents.
Prepare deeds of trusts and other estate transfer documentation.
File and process documents with the County Recorder's Office.
Prepare and maintain client estate planning binders.
Assist in all aspects of court probate matters and estate administration.
Handle court filings, including pleadings and Judicial Council forms.
Act as a notary for the signing of estate planning documents (preferred, but not required).
Provide excellent client service through communication and assistance in the estate planning process.
Work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications :
Proven experience as an Estate Planning & Estate Administration Paralegal, with a minimum of three years of experience in the field.
Strong knowledge of estate planning documents (wills, trusts, powers of attorney, etc.), probate processes, and estate administration.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Additional Information :
This is a full-time, in-office position with the possibility of a regular schedule of less than 40 hours per week and partial remote work (Firm's decision)
