Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead our rubber manufacturing facility in Celina, Ohio. The ideal candidate will have 8 years of experience in plant operations, preferably within the rubber or plastic extrusion industry. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee all plant operations, including production, safety, quality control, and maintenance.
- Manage and coordinate multiple shifts to ensure smooth production and operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement production strategies to maximize output while minimizing costs and waste.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Monitor equipment performance, schedule maintenance, and implement process improvements to reduce downtime.
- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing production team.
- Analyze key performance metrics (KPIs) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with senior management to set goals, budgets, and operational strategies.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and efficiency.
Requirements :
Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
Experience managing large teams and multiple shifts.
Knowledge of rubber processing, extrusion, calendaring, and mixing technologies.
