Plant Manager - Industrial Operations
We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to lead operations at our client's facility. The ideal candidate will oversee daily plant functions, drive operational excellence, and inspire a diverse team.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee daily operations, maintenance, and project management for a two-shift facility.
Lead by example, work hands-on with your team and manage by walking around.
Recruit, train, and motivate a team of hourly employees to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs, ensuring operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and regulatory policies.
Plan and execute plant projects and repairs while managing inventory for spare parts.
Provide daily, weekly, and monthly production reporting.
Qualifications :
Self-motivated with a strong continuous improvement mindset.
Proven decision-making and problem-solving skills related to industrial equipment, process flow, and team leadership.
Comfortable getting hands-on with operations and working closely with the team.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and lead hourly employees.
A bachelor's degree and a record of achievement in managing production teams in industrial settings are preferred.
Experience with large industrial equipment (e.g., 480v 3ph electrical, 300hp motors) and a detailed, process-oriented approach.
