We are looking for a Post-closing paralegal to join our fantastic team. We provide a collaborative, team-focused atmosphere. You will work autonomously with support. Our training program involves understanding the company and process as a whole in addition to specific training in your role with the team members that are currently performing the work.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Post-closing paralegal. The Post-closing paralegal will be responsible for reviewing and auditing closing packages to ensure compliance and accuracy . Responsibilities will include but not be limited to :
Review and audit closing packages and lender documents for accuracy and closing conditions
Review any special instructions from all closing parties
Ensure all documentation necessary for all parties involved is accurate
Ensure all signatures have been appropriately collected and notarized
Update internal software with all closing information
Record documents and document recording fees
Disburse funds via check or wire to all necessary parties, ensuring lender and closing instructions have been met
Qualifications
Excellent Communication skills
Research and Document Review skills
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience in the real estate or title industry is a plus
Paralegal certificate or relevant degree a plus
