Position Overview :
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Press Brake Operator with a minimum of 4 years of experience to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating production lines in accordance with work instructions to produce high-quality products that meet established specifications.
Key Responsibilities :
Operate press brake machinery to produce metal components according to production specifications and schedules.
Constantly monitor the appearance and quality of the product, taking necessary corrective actions to maintain product within specifications.
Accurately fill out all records and reports as per applicable work instructions.
Flexibility to work at different workstations as production needs dictate.
Maintain machinery by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting issues to ensure smooth operation.
Essential Functions :
Ensure adherence to all safety and quality standards in the fabrication process.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Follow detailed instructions and procedures to operate machinery effectively.
Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and efficiency.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Press Brake Operator.
Manufacturing experience is a plus.
Strong willingness to learn new machines and operations related to the fabrication industry.
Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Physical Requirements :
This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing throughout the day.
Frequently lift and / or move items over 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
