Position Title : Sales Account Executive
FLSA Status : Exempt
Reports To : Director of Business Transformation
Travel : 50% minimum and as needed
Department : Division 20 - Sales
SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE :
The Sales Account Executive is responsible for driving business growth by identifying, acquiring, and nurturing new customer relationships via both with technology and in person visits. This role requires a results-oriented professional who excels in connecting with decision-makers, communicating effectively, and providing consultative sales support. The ideal candidate will demonstrate creativity and persistence in generating leads, managing sales cycles, and delivering exceptional service to clients while meeting and exceeding sales targets.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Build a robust book of business by researching potential leads and conducting cold calls to persuade decision-makers to utilize the company's services. Employ creative and persistent methods to prospect and
generate new opportunities that align with the company's objectives.
Serve as a consultative resource to customers by discussing service offerings, market trends, and industry standards. Effectively provide quotes that consider all variable factors to meet customer requirements and foster long-term business relationships.Support the daily operational needs of your customers through consistent communication and high levels of service, ensuring that their requirements are met promptly and accurately.Advance your skillset through required sales training and continuous education. Utilize availableeducational resources to become a subject matter expert on company's services and current market trends, enabling you to effectively address customer inquiries and provide informed recommendations.
Effectively manage the the sales cycle from prospecting to onboarding new clients. Develop and execute a strategic business development plan for each account that ensures continuous, profitable growth.Lead strategy for discovery calls, opportunities, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and partner meetings. Communicate service updates with accuracy and attention to detail to maintain transparency and trust with clients.Leverage the unique value proposition and differentiators to provide tailored solutions, and capitalize on opportunities to cross-sell services to enhance customer relationships and drive revenue.Generate new profit through consistent pipeline development. Utilize active partner referrals and your expanding network to increase sales opportunities and nurture leads.Produce high-impact gains by converting transactional business into long-term contracted customers, thereby stabilizing revenue streams and enhancing customer loyalty.Meet or exceed periodic forecast Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND WORK EXPERIENCE :
Relevant Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience of at least a minimum of three years in sales with import / export commodities or transportation industry preferred.Excellent oral and written skills; professional demeanor.Disciplined, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently.Quick to adapt in fast-paced environments; strong multitasking ability.Prior sales experience preferred; ability to demonstrate the sales processStrong negotiation, persuasion, and confidence skills.Efficiently recognizes and prioritizes profitable opportunities.Strong skills in building relationships and team collaboration.Proactive decision-making with issue resolution capabilities.Entrepreneurial spirit; resilience and persistence under pressure; urgency for achieving goals.OTHER DUTIES :
