This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant at West New York, NJ.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing audited and reviewed financial statements under the supervision of the managing partner.
Collaborate with other colleagues during all phases of the audit process including developing the audit plan, objectives, scope, and procedures.
Prepare audit programs to achieve objectives. Complete audits on time and within budget.
Responsible for gathering and analyzing sufficient evidence and data to reach a conclusion on the audit objectives.
The candidate must be able to prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships and corporations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) accreditation is preferred
Proven work experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
Experience with financial and tax software
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
