We specialize in identifying, reaching out to, and securing partnerships for program co-development, licensing, and technology acquisitions, as well as assisting with fundraising. Our approach involves building defendable valuations, profiling potential partners, conducting targeted outreach, advising on deal terms, and ensuring smooth integration for our clients.

This is a full-time role located in our offices in UTC in San Diego, CA. The position involves tasks such as matching clients with investors, facilitating partnerships, connecting with industry leaders, collaborating with counterparts, and guiding clients towards acquirers. Key responsibilities include building valuations, profiling potential partners, conducting outreach, advising on deal terms, and refining client pitches.
Responsibilities :
Crafting Pitch Presentations : Create engaging presentations that clearly communicate the value proposition of our clients' technologies to potential partners and licensees.
Business Model Development : Support the creation and refinement of business models, ensuring they are competitive, viable, and align with the client's strategic goals.
Outreach to Potential Clients : Proactively engage with potential clients to explore new opportunities for licensing deals and partnerships.
Project Management : Coordinate and manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
Requirements :
At least two years' experience in a similar position in business development, search & evaluation, early technology scouting, or academic technology transfer.
A Bachelor's degree in Biology, biotechnology, or a related field is required; a Master's degree preferred.
Candidates without a formal biology-related degree must have at least four years of experience in a similar position within the biotech sector :
Excellent communication and presentation skills, articulating complex concepts to diverse audiences.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated interest in biotechnology with a passion for driving innovation through strategic partnerships.
