Our Client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Construction Estimator to join our team.

• The ideal candidate must have 5 - 10 years estimating experience in Heavy Highway and Utility Work, Private Site Work, Con Edison Substations and Con Edison Gas and Electrical Conduit Installations.

• Estimator shall be fluent in the use of HCSS Estimating Software, Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, Outlook and Power Point), On-Screen Takeoff and an Earthwork Takeoff System

Responsibilities

• Checking Websites for Project Leads

• Picking up/Downloading Plans and Specs

• Bidding Public and Private Work from inception to finish

• Bid Reviews with estimating team

• Filling out final bid sheets

• Vendor Solicitation - Calls and E-Mails

• Keeping bid schedule on company calendar

• Printing out plans and specs

• Project hand-off to PM's
