We are a leading furniture company seeking a highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain / Inventory Management Specialist to join the team. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits and opportunities for career growth. The successful candidate will have a key function with the management of our ERP system. The candidate will have a strong presence in the manufacturing work areas. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced industry and make a significant impact on the company's success. This position is an on-site position located at our Newport, Tennessee facility.
Responsibilities : -
Oversee and manage inventory based on needs of the business
Track and document all incoming and outgoing inventory
Perform regular audits to ensure accuracy and integrity of the inventory
Identify and address any inventory discrepancies
Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices
Maintain clear and accurate inventory reports for internal co-workers
Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure smooth flow of stock
Forecast inventory needs to manage procurement and storage space effectively
Conduct inventory counting and cycle counts
Evaluate and maintain stocking levels reflective of the business need
Ensure inventory is in a logical location closest to the point of production
Ensure the locations are clearly marked and defined on the production floor and drawing layout
Maintain a clean and orderly inventory of components, and finished goods
Qualifications : -
2- year degree
4 years of experience in supply chain and inventory management, preferably in manufacturing
Experience with ERP systems, NetSuite preferred, or Dynamics, or SAP
Office 365
Excel (intermediate to expert user)

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage change management and lead change
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
