About the Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Survey Crew Chief / Land Surveyor to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about land surveying, comfortable working in the field, and flexible with hours to meet project timelines.
Responsibilities
Independently perform boundary, topographic, and construction surveys for public and private projects.
Prepare CAD survey drawings and conduct fieldwork.
Interpret survey maps and construction plans to support project goals.
Manage vehicle and equipment inventory, loading, and maintenance.
Communicate with the project team to provide updates and feedback on field activities.
Supervise the survey crew's use of equipment, data collection, and field sketches.
Assist in performance evaluations and support the team's ongoing development.
Adaptable to working extended hours as needed for client and project demands.
Qualifications
Experience : 2 years in land surveying with strong communication skills.
Certifications : PLS, LSIT, or Certified Survey Technician preferred.
Technical Skills : Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Trimble equipment.
License : Valid driver's license required.
Education : Associate's Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field.
