We are seeking an experienced Commercial Project Manager to lead our Emergency Mitigation Team. This role involves overseeing all aspects of emergency response and restoration projects for commercial clients nationwide, with travel required throughout the year as we service clients all over the country.
The ideal candidate will be self-sufficient and capable of managing all phases of emergency mitigation projects, including but not limited to initial emergency response (fire, water, storm, natural disaster), handling insurance claims, project documentation, subcontractor management, Xactimate usage, and overseeing reconstruction efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage emergency response projects for commercial clients, including fire, water, storm, and natural disaster events.
Handle all aspects of project management, including scope creation in Xactimate, equipment/materials tracking, insurance claims, and project documentation.
Oversee drying, dehumidification, climate stabilization, and other mitigation processes.
Develop and maintain accurate project documentation, including moisture mapping, photo tracking, daily reports, and job costing analysis.
Manage the bidding, selection, and hiring of subcontractors.
Lead on-site project management and workflow, coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and other project managers.
Develop project schedules, establish critical paths, and ensure projects meet key milestones and deadlines.
Oversee reconstruction aspects and provide leadership to team members throughout the project lifecycle.
Foster positive relationships with clients, vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
Handle any other tasks associated with commercial emergency project management as needed.
Required Skills and Experience:
5-10 years of experience in commercial restoration project management, including the insurance industry.
In-depth knowledge of emergency mitigation and remediation processes, construction work, and project management.
Expertise in Xactimate for mitigation and reconstruction scoping.
Strong communication skills and the ability to lead teams and manage client relationships effectively.
Solid understanding of various commercial construction trades and the ability to oversee subcontractor work.
Proven experience in project scheduling, job costing, and tracking project performance.
Self-motivated and able to manage projects independently with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
Must be able to pass a background check and be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Travel throughout the U.S
Preferred:
Existing relationships with clients in the commercial restoration or insurance sectors.
Salary : $80,000 - $120,000
