Essential Job Functions
This individual is an experienced and hands-on manager and, as such, is expected to:
- Manage a team of skilled technicians and execute all aspects of live event support.
- Occasionally serve as the project manager on large/complex productions.
- Support sales staff with site survey's, quotes and client relations.
- Ensure that equipment meets standards.
- Ensure that we are up to speed on current technology and staff is continually developing through training and new experiences.
- Maintain focus on customer satisfaction.
- Professionally represent at all times and in the following endeavors, as needed.
- Schedule all technical staff.
- Select proper equipment to execute events based on given designs or self-designed solutions.
- Select and direct staff for show operations.
- Perform site surveys as needed.
- Advise company on capital inventory purchases.
- Support sales team in new business acquisition.
- Maintain relationships with clients as needed.
- Creation of quotations in accordance with standards and expectations
- Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Comfort with both PC & MAC.
- Knowledge of current live event technologies.
- Excellent technical skills with experience in sound, lighting and video components and their implementation.
- Strong and effective communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Punctual, comfortable working with other core employees, willing to work sporadic evenings and weekends.

- Ability to safely operate vehicles from a passenger car to a 26' straight truck.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License.
- Ability to represent our company in all client meetings and communications.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Suite.
- 5 years of professional experience in AV/Theater/Live-Event field.
- 4 Year Degree in Technical Theater or related degree OR demonstrated commensurate experience in the field.
