Title: Cabinet Designer / Drafter
Type: Full-Time
Pay: $25-30/hour
Number of Hires: one
Location: New Richmond, WI - although technology has made it possible to work remotely, it is preferred that the applicant be comfortable with working in the office day-to-day. It is imperative to the training process and continued communication that face-to-face interaction occur between the design, cabinetry shop, and homeowners.
Roles And Responsibilities
The selected applicant will prepare drawings of custom cabinets based on architectural floor plans. They will then meet directly with homeowners to review and modify the designs. The applicant will work with the homeowner during the design process and be responsible for managing change orders requested by the customer. The applicant will also work closely with the cabinetry shop for the manufacturing of the designs.
Skills
Associate degree in interior design or drafting is preferred

Skills
- Drafting - Strong technical drafting skills, with some knowledge of cabinetry design preferred.
- Mozaik CAD software experience desired, but not required
- Detail - Attention to detail is critical.
- Customer focused - Be able to meet with and communicate directly with homeowners.
- Design - Understand current residential interior design styles and be able to offer suggestions to homeowners
- Communication - Effective written and verbal skills, with consistent communication habits
- 1-5 years of experience in a similar position
