🧰 What You'll Be Doing
- Create 2D CAD drawings (and sometimes 3D models) from plans and sketches
- Help with bid proposals and material estimates by preparing drawing packages
- Collaborate with project managers and shop personnel
- Revise drawings based on project changes or updates
- Double-check your work for accuracy
- Keep files and documentation organized
- Offer ideas to improve how drafting gets done
- Be ready to help out when needed on active jobs
- Experience with AutoCAD (progeCAD is a plus)
- Ability to read architectural and structural blueprints
- Experience with glass, aluminum, curtainwalls, or storefronts is great-but not required
- A background in drafting, design, or engineering (degree, certificate, or experience)
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- A team player who's eager to learn and grow
