About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter with expertise in wood and metal framing to join our construction team. This is a hands-on field position that involves working on various construction sites to build and install framing structures according to specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in both wood and metal framing, a strong work ethic, and the ability to collaborate effectively with a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and assemble wood and metal framing according to blueprints, specifications, and project requirements.
• Install walls, floors, ceilings, and other structural frameworks using power tools, hand tools, and construction equipment.
• Read and interpret construction plans, sketches, and instructions from supervisors or project managers.
• Ensure that all structures meet building codes and safety standards.
• Operate tools and equipment safely, including saws, drills, nail guns, and levels.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople and construction crew members to complete projects efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment on-site.
• Inspect and repair framing structures as needed.
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in carpentry, with a focus on wood and metal framing.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and building codes.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Certification in carpentry or related fields is a plus.
• Experience with commercial and residential framing projects.
