Position Summary
- Perform routine medical laboratory tests in areas including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and immunology.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, ensuring proper functioning.
- Ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness, and infection control policies.
- Report test results according to lab protocols and communicate critical results to providers and staff.
- Serve as a backup to the Lab Manager when needed.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of medical laboratory experience.
- MLT, ASCP, CPT, or AMT certification preferred.
- Proficiency in using a computer and electronic medical records.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and under pressure.
