We employ respectful, flexible, evidence-based approaches to address substance use and compulsive behavior problems as well as other mental health issues, including anxiety disorders and trauma/PTSD. The client is seeking a passionate, motivated clinician (family work highly desired) with a strong interest in evidence-based treatments for substance use behaviors, as well as the treatment of co-occurring disorders. This position includes providing intensive individual and/or family therapy (motivationally and behaviorally focused) to all assigned clients (maximum caseload of 3 clients for individual or 4 clients for family work), as well as group therapy involvement (group modalities include the use of ACT, DBT, and CBT). The client is dedicated to creating and maintaining a collaborative, supportive environment between all staff members as well as with clients, which is a critical part of creating the optimal conditions for change. The client is a mission-driven organization dedicated to changing the conversation around substance use and disseminating and practicing evidence-based, compassionate approaches with our clients-excellent opportunity for training and professional growth and development in a cutting-edge facility.

The client is a unique residential treatment program developed by leading clinical experts in the addiction treatment field. The client is dedicated to the use of evidence-based treatments for substance use issues as well as anxiety disorders and trauma (MI, CRAFT, DBT, Prolonged Exposure, EMDR, STAIR, Exp/RP), provided across group, individual, and family therapy venues. The setting for these holistic, compassionate, and evidence-based treatments is our 15-bed private facility, located in the stunning and culturally vibrant Berkshires of Western Massachusetts on 200 acres.
The client is located approximately. 2.5 hours from both NYC and Boston

Job Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide direct therapy services to all assigned patients in group, individual, and family consultation settings
- Maintain professional standards as related to patient care, confidentiality, HIPAA considerations, and note-taking/documentation
- Maintain good employee relations among clinical staff, ensuring effective communication between disciplines
- Maintain proper scheduling and completion of clinical activities, including group, individual, supervisory, and consultative clinical activities
- Maintain a high level of client-centered focus
- Create and foster teamwork within the clinical team and within the organization as a whole
- Maintain ongoing communication with all referral sources and appropriate family members about ongoing treatment/care issues and plans
