Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive maintenance across various levels to extend the lifespan of trucks and heavy equipment.
- Perform daily repairs and maintenance tasks, including oil changes, battery checks, and equipment lubrication.
- Troubleshoot and repair major components such as engines and transmissions.
- Effectively communicate with the team to coordinate maintenance schedules and reduce truck downtime.
- Maintain a safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and practices.
- Experience as a Diesel Mechanic, with expertise in heavy equipment and diesel truck maintenance.
- Proficient in performing repairs on a wide range of heavy machinery, including loaders and material processing machines.
- Strong ability to diagnose and repair major mechanical issues.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and manage repair schedules.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and compliance with safety standards.
- Ability to handle tools and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
