The Drayage BDR will assist in overseeing our drayage operations and drive business growth. This role is critical in developing our drayage services, enhancing customer satisfaction, and expanding our market presence. The ideal candidate will possess deep industry knowledge, a proven track record in sales, and the ability to collaborate closely with the Drayage Manager to scale up the Drayage department.

- Prospect potential customers through cold-calling and email outreach.
- Assist in all aspects of the drayage operations, including coordination of logistics and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Utilize sales experience to retain and grow customer base, negotiate contracts, and develop strategic partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Assist in pricing analysis and completing RFQs.
- Ensure that sales performance meets set targets.
- Stay updated with industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure compliance and leverage emerging opportunities.
- Analyze data, solve problems, and actively seek opportunities to improve customers' supply chains.
- Consistently generate sales leads lists using Import Yeti, ZoomInfo, Salesforce, and other resources.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in drayage operations sales.
- Proven sales record with portable book of business and understanding of market research methods and analysis.
- Proven ability to drive business growth and customer engagement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, partners, and team members.
- Proficient in McLeod Software and Microsoft Office Suite.
