What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Control Panel Designer position at W3Global?
This position requires that the candidate be able to provide a control system design drawing according to NEC and Underwriter Laboratory guidelines via Auto-CAD from a Bill of Materials, written specifications, and associated contract drawings if available.

- Knowledge and experience in Basic Motor Control and Relay Logic for Lift Stations, Water Treatment Plants, Wastewater Treatment Plants, HVAC/Refrigeration, Boiler, and Switchgear.
- Knowledge and experience designing electrical drawings in AutoCAD 2D. Our AutoCAD program includes a basic library of symbols, circuits, and reference projects.
- Knowledge and experience designing electrical control systems in AutoCAD utilizing the National Electric Code, Underwriters Laboratories (508A, 698A), and interpreting customer specifications to meet all requirements.
- 3 years of experience required.
- Experience in design with PLC Digital and Analog Inputs/Outputs
- Knowledge and experience in the application of Variable Frequency Drives
- Knowledge and experience with Programmable Logic Controller, HMI, and programming of Allen-Bradley (Logix5000) and Automation Direct.
