We are seeking an experienced Field Supervisor to oversee general construction operations for ground-up construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing new construction projects from start to finish, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with local jurisdiction inspectors and city/county officials.
- Handle permitting processes with county, town, and other authorities.
- Work with local utilities to establish temporary and permanent services.
- Enforce jobsite safety protocols and conduct regular safety meetings.
- Ensure all work aligns with contract documents and resolve field issues.
- Prepare accurate job progress reports and project documentation.
- Manage project success, including safety, profitability, schedule, and quality.
- Develop project schedules and sequencing of work, implementing recovery strategies when necessary.
- Provide daily updates to the Head of Operations regarding progress and performance.
- Maintain professional relationships with Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Subcontractors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience overseeing ground-up, new construction projects.
- Proficiency in construction-related software and Microsoft Office.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritize deadlines.
- Thorough understanding of the homebuilding process, specifically roofing.
- In-depth knowledge of construction industry safety regulations and policies.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 4 years of relevant construction experience.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Frequent standing, walking, reaching, climbing, and balancing.
- Comfortable climbing ladders and traversing roofs as needed.
- Ability to access and navigate all areas of a construction site in various weather conditions.
