Freight Broker

Job Title: Freight Broker (100% Remote-Full Time, 100% Commission based Position)

Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Freight Broker to join our team. This is a commission-based, remote role where the ideal candidate will bring their own customer base. The Freight Broker will be responsible for managing all brokerage activities, providing excellent customer service, dispatching shipments, and overseeing account management on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, as well as secure new clients.
• Manage day-to-day brokerage activities, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.
• Coordinate with customers, dispatch teams, and carriers to ensure efficient and cost-effective shipments.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of satisfaction.
• Oversee account management, ensuring all customer needs are met and targets are achieved.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with clients and carriers.
• Work independently, managing your own time and workload remotely.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless operations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven ability to bring your own customers or a strong existing client base.
• Experience in Freight Brokerage, including strong dispatching and account management skills.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships.
• Knowledge and understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and the transportation industry.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
