The Role Of The Interior Designer Will Include
- Programing and Conceptual Design
- Schematic Design and Preliminary Pricing
- Participating in Client presentations and taking meeting minutes
- Design Development
- Finish Selections
- Finish Specifications and Finish Schedules
- Furniture Selections
- Custom Millwork Design
- Studio Designer Procurement
- Project Administration
- Maintaining open communication with Project Manager to ensure a clear understanding of project expectations, deadlines, budgets and deliverables
- Communicating with consultants and internal/external project team members for project coordination
- Reviewing and responding to submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings
- Participating in site observation and preparing documentation notes
- Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, InDesign, MS Office
- Proficiency in speaking and writing the English language
- 5 years of experience working for an architecture or interior design firm
- A flexible and proactive approach to work as part of a team
- Excellent communication & organizational skills.
