Requirements
Experience with weatherproofing techniques and materials for various structures
- Experience in high-end residential construction (1 years req)
- Residential/Commercial Carpentry experience (5 years req)
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently (req)
- Clean DMV record, professional references, and own tools (req)
- Proficiency with hand and power tools (req)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings (req)
- Good communication and supervisory skills (req)
Carpentry & Construction:
- Perform framing, structural work, and finishing tasks.
- Read blueprints and follow project specifications.
- Install doors, windows, cabinetry, and other wood structures.
- Repair and maintain existing structures.
- Select, cut, and prepare materials using hand and power tools.
- Guide apprentices and junior carpenters on tasks.
- Ensure a safe work environment and adhere to building codes.
- Coordinate with other trades and report progress to supervisors.
- Address and resolve on-site issues as they arise.
