Junior Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer with a valid Professional Engineer (PE) license to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead and manage civil engineering projects from concept through completion, providing technical expertise, project management, and mentorship to junior engineers. This role is essential for ensuring project quality, regulatory compliance, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the planning, design, and execution of complex civil engineering projects including land development, transportation, public infrastructure, and site design.
• Provide technical oversight, quality assurance, and risk management for projects.
• Prepare engineering plans, specifications, cost estimates, and permit applications.
• Review and approve design documents and calculations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local codes and standards.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance and career development.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and deliverables for multiple concurrent projects.
• Participate in proposal development and business development efforts.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred).
• PE (Professional Engineer) license required and in good standing.
• 7 years of progressive civil engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering design, standards, and regulations.
• Proficiency with engineering software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, or similar tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects and interdisciplinary teams.
• Experience interacting with clients, public agencies, and stakeholders.
