Qualifications
- Must hold a valid funeral director/embalmer license in a state that can quickly reciprocate to Georgia.
- 2-3 years of experience as a practicing funeral director preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, funeral service software, etc.).
- Strong teamwork and efficiency skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Professional appearance with no visible tattoos or facial piercings.
- Ability to effectively communicate with staff and the families served.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Availability for afternoon, weekend, and holiday hours as part of a standard schedule.
- Education: High school diploma and completion of mortuary college.
- Physically capable of working in a fast-paced environment and lifting heavy loads (e.g., removals).
- On-call responsibilities, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
- Consistent time off, including two days off per week and every other weekend off.
- Hourly wage: $22-$30 per hour, depending on experience and skills.
