Primary Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include the following:
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This job operates in both office and plant operations settings. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
This is a largely sedentary role; however, some filing is required, which would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

The Planner/Schedule is responsible for planning all departments of production for Company.
Primary Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role include the following:
- Ability to work with all levels of the plant to reach reasonable solutions to issues and concerns.
- Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with vendors and internal customers.
- Schedule pipe production.
- Assess and order appropriate powder/supplies for coatings.
- Schedules Rebar department production.
- Modify production schedule as needed.
- Adjust schedules, as needed, to account for short lead time orders.
- Working with Operations Manager to ensure correct staffing levels for each day's production.
- Monitor and approve purchase of raw materials for production.
- Communicate with outside inspectors to ensure availability with production schedule.
- Meet with sales team and management as needed to review current/planned production and review any new or recurring issues.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Proficiency at Microsoft suite products as well as office equipment.
- Highschool diploma or equivalent required, BS preferred.
- Previous manufacturing experience required, experience with coatings preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
