Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations, maintenance, and project management for a two-shift facility.
- Lead by example, work hands-on with your team and manage by walking around.
- Recruit, train, and motivate a team of hourly employees to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs, ensuring operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and regulatory policies.
- Plan and execute plant projects and repairs while managing inventory for spare parts.
- Provide daily, weekly, and monthly production reporting.
- Self-motivated with a strong continuous improvement mindset.
- Proven decision-making and problem-solving skills related to industrial equipment, process flow, and team leadership.
- Comfortable getting hands-on with operations and working closely with the team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and lead hourly employees.
- A bachelor's degree and a record of achievement in managing production teams in industrial settings are preferred.
- Experience with large industrial equipment (e.g., 480v 3ph electrical, 300hp motors) and a detailed, process-oriented approach.
