Production Supervisor - Night Shift

Responsibilities
Directs manufacturing and verifies system and process compliance.
Drive Process improvement and cost reduction activities.
Support problem prevention & detection by driving process compliance.
Owns process to drive accountability on the plant floor regarding shift breaks, start and end times.
Directs and leads manufacturing personnel.
Report and ensure accuracy of key operational metrics (equipment utilization, productivity, scrap and quality)
Performance against budgets, metrics and goals
Key Competencies, Knowledge And Skills
Ability to lead people, get results through others and hold self and others accountable.
Experience in the process to deploy and ensure compliance to manufacturing systems and processes.
Problem analysis and resolution at the functional level.
Technical skills including Lean Manufacturing techniques, Kaizen, process improvement, Six Sigma, freight & distribution, materials management, production scheduling, ISO/TS and OSHA.
Minimum 3-4 years production supervision experience in a manufacturing environment.
Secondary education beyond High School - College, Skilled Trade training, technical training, etc..
Computer proficiency: Strong Excel, PP and Outlook skills.
