As an Estimator, you will be responsible for reviewing project plans, conducting site evaluations, and providing accurate cost estimates for glass and glazing projects, ensuring our clients receive the best possible value.

Position Overview
We are seeking a new or experienced Project Estimator to join our team at Company. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, analytical individual with a strong background in construction, estimating, or similar industries. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for reviewing project plans, conducting site evaluations, and providing accurate cost estimates for glass and glazing projects, ensuring our clients receive the best possible value.
Key Responsibilities
- Review project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates.
- Meet with clients, contractors, and architects to discuss project requirements and expectations.
- Conduct on-site evaluations and take measurements when necessary to ensure accurate project assessments.
- Identify potential risks or challenges that may affect project scope or cost.
- Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to gather pricing for materials and services.
- Develop and submit detailed proposals and bids for various commercial glass installations.
- Maintain project records, including cost estimates, change orders, and schedules.
- Assist the project management team with cost tracking and project timelines.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, material costs, and new technologies to provide the most accurate and competitive estimates.
- 1 years of experience in estimating, preferably in the glass, glazing, or construction industry preferred but not required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and estimating software.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of project management principles and the construction process.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
