Project Manager - Structural Steel Construction
Do you have experience managing structural steel construction projects in the U.S.? You must already be authorized to work in the U.S. AND have 5 years of structural steel project management experience.
We have an opening for a Project Manager to support structural steel projects in the Mid-Atlantic region. This person will be part of a project management team and ideally will work out of either the Federalsburg, MD, or Delmar, DE location. Remote work will be considered for the right candidate.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate with detailers to monitor progress of drawings.
- Identify, request, and follow up on required information from architects and engineers.
- Perform field measurements.
- Coordinate with other trades, suppliers, and sub-contractors.
- Schedule production and delivery of materials.
- Schedule and oversee erection.
- Resolve job site problems.
- Price and issue change order requests and negotiate change orders with General Contractors, Construction Managers, or Owners.
- Work with accounting on job cost estimates and other financial matters.
- Issue closeout documents.
- Develop and maintain client relationships.
- Develop and maintain erector relationships and capabilities.
- Travel to job sites as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by company executives.
- At least 5 years of experience in project management for a structural steel fabricator/erector OR at least 3 years of experience with a college degree in architecture, construction management, or civil/structural engineering.
- Must be able to read architectural and structural drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
