This role is responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of incoming parts, equipment, and materials throughout their lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain equipment inspection documents.
- Inspect various equipment to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Prepare and verify technical documentation related to equipment, processes, and inspections.
- Develop and maintain safety labels for equipment; participate in safety label improvements.
- Capture detailed photos and videos of equipment and parts for documentation.
- Conduct full equipment inspections and generate accurate reports.
- Assess equipment parts and machine shop parts for quality and compliance.
- Inspect parts from external suppliers to ensure they meet specifications.
- Examine raw materials and honed tubing, documenting findings.
- Identify and document product or process discrepancies, following up for resolution.
- Develop, revise, and implement quality procedures.
- Calibrate measurement tools and instruments to ensure accuracy.
- Document the equipment shipment loading process via photo/video.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical training in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or related fields is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and manuals.
- Basic knowledge of equipment inspection and safety standards.
- Comfortable using measuring instruments and tools for inspections and calibration.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.); experience with database or document management systems is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Previous QA or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
