Position Summary
Responsible for Receiving data entry
Support Purchasing Supervisor with various tasks
Driving to/from vendors for drop off and pick up
Position Tasks
Enter verified receiving packing slips into the ERP system, ensuring accuracy
Reconcile system receivers with accounting on a daily basis.
Communicate with the supply chain supervisor and inventory clerk.
Unload shipments from trucks using forklifts and hand lifting.
Receive and sign for deliveries.
Support purchasing of consumables and shop floor items.
Back up driver locally to vendors for drop off & pickup.
Process purchase orders and reconcile invoices.
Maintain accurate inventory records and recommend inventory restocking.
Data entry into ERP for purchasing, inventory, and maintenance functions.
Assists in locating items that may have incorrect locations or stock numbers.
Run weekly open PO reports to proactively contact vendors and ensure on-time delivery.
Additional Responsibilities
Performs additional duties and assignments as directed by management.
Assists in general maintenance and cleanup of the warehouse.
Assist supply chain supervisor with item master maintenance.
Receiving parts comparing packing lists and invoices with Purchase orders and ensuring accurate deliveries on a backup basis.
Inspect deliveries to ensure they match the order and invoice specifications on a backup basis.
Job Qualifications
Proficient in Excel, Word, and ERP systems
3-5 years of receiving and inventory experience.
Receiving, purchasing, general warehouse, and manufacturing experience is a plus.
Good interpersonal skills.
Able to work with various personalities in a production environment.
Ability to multitask and consistently meet deadlines and requirements.
A driver's license without blemishes is a must.
Must be able to read blueprints and use measuring tools (i.e. tape measure, caliper).
