- Preconstruction Leadership: Spearhead all phases of project estimating, including project assessments, project budgets, schedules, and scope definitions.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with owners, architects, staff, project managers, and trade partners to refine project details, scopes of work, and materials needs.
- Comprehensive Estimating: Prepare detailed construction cost estimates, explore value engineering options, and assess alternative materials while maintaining quality.
- Ongoing Communication: Partner with project managers post project-award to ensure project handoff and follow-up.
- Trade Partner Development: Source and build relationships with high-quality trade partners to support project excellence.
We're looking for a highly skilled professional with a proven track record in high-end residential construction. Key qualifications include:
Experience & Education
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Structural Engineering (preferred).
- 6 years of residential construction and estimating experience, including 3 years with high-end projects.
- Mastery of high-end residential construction principles and processes.
- Proficiency with estimating tools like Plan Swift, Bluebeam, or similar software.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and Adobe Suite.
- Architectural design and sketching abilities (preferred).
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and mathematical abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Collaborative mindset with a positive attitude, even under tight deadlines.
