Key Responsibilities
Project Oversight
- Supervise day-to-day roofing operations across multiple active job sites.
- Coordinate crews, materials, and equipment to meet project timelines.
- Perform daily site inspections, ensuring quality control and compliance.
- Enforce OSHA, state/local building codes, and company safety standards.
- Serve as the main field liaison between roofing crews and office staff.
- Train, mentor, and lead crews on proper installation and site safety.
- Communicate job requirements, schedules, and expectations clearly.
- Address homeowner questions and concerns professionally.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and insurance adjusters.
- Document project milestones with photos and notes for internal and insurance reporting.
- Ensure all logs, safety forms, and final walk-throughs are completed accurately.
Required
- 5 years of roofing experience (residential and/or commercial).
- 2 years in a supervisory/leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of asphalt shingles, tile, metal, and flat roof systems.
- Familiarity with Florida Building Code, particularly hurricane-related standards.
- Valid Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to read blueprints, scopes of work, and project estimates.
- Experience in restoration/disaster recovery or insurance-based work.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Outdoor, on-site work across various job sites.
- Must be comfortable with physical labor, climbing, lifting, and working in extreme weather.
- Flexibility to work long hours during peak storm seasons or emergency events.
