Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee litigation cases from inception through resolution, ensuring adherence to deadlines and court requirements.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various issues related to Family Law, Personal Injury Law, Immigration Law, Patent Law, and Tribal Law regulations.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents with precision and clarity.
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and negotiations effectively advocating for their interests.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored legal strategies.
- Utilize Lexis-Nexis for comprehensive legal research and case law analysis.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the practice areas mentioned.
- Mentor junior associates and support their professional development through guidance and training.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience in Family Law, Personal Injury Law, Immigration Law, Patent Law, or related fields.
- Proven track record of successful case management and litigation outcomes.
- Strong research skills with proficiency in utilizing Lexis-Nexis for legal inquiries.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Familiarity with Estate Planning is a plus but not mandatory.
