- Develop and manage an end-to-end supply chain strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives for inventory levels and shipment timelines.
- Orchestrate all supply chain disciplines, including SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning), logistics, manufacturing, and distribution.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of international imports and inventory management.
- Optimize vendor relationships and negotiate terms to achieve operational and financial efficiency.
Analytics, Systems, and Processes
- Monitor key inventory performance metrics and develop, implement, and report on corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and maintain monthly projections, including on-hand and in-transit inventory, purchases, receipts, and payments. Identify and report on drivers of month-over-month changes.
- Build and maintain dashboards and analytical models to support supply chain initiatives.
- Develop standard work and document processes to create repeatable and scalable workflows.
- Lead supply chain continuous improvement projects, ensuring process optimization and alignment with organizational goals.
- Oversee dozens of shipments from multiple international vendors, ensuring compliance with all import regulations and timely delivery.
- Coordinate with shipping companies, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to streamline import operations and mitigate delays.
- Establish a centralized system to manage and track shipment documentation, reducing reliance on manual processes.
- Proactively resolve logistical issues, such as delays, incomplete documentation, or damaged goods.
- Maintain accurate and real-time inventory records, ensuring data integrity across multiple channels and locations.
- Monitor inventory fluctuations and establish processes to minimize stockouts or overstocking, ensuring seamless demand fulfillment.
- Collaborate with internal teams to forecast inventory needs based on sales trends and seasonality.
- Operate comfortably in a SKU-intensive environment, balancing Inventory Turnover Optimization (ITO) with high levels of customer service.
- Partner with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align supply chain activities with business goals.
- Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams and building alignment at all levels of the organization.
- Communicate regularly with vendors to manage expectations and address operational challenges.
- Ensure that warehouse and fulfillment teams are prepared for incoming shipments and inventory storage requirements.
- Experience: B.S in supply chain / inventory management, business, or comparable 5 years in supply chain management, with a focus on international imports and e-commerce operations.
- Supply Chain Expertise: Strong knowledge of global logistics, import/export regulations, and inventory management data principles.
- Technical Skills: Extensive experience in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience with M3 and/or PowerBI is preferred.
