Our Client is seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker to build, repair, and maintain high-speed progressive dies and plastic injection molds. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Construct, repair, and troubleshoot dies, molds, and related machinery.
- Interpret blueprints and part prints; apply knowledge of geometric tolerances.
- Operate and maintain metalworking tools (drills, mills, grinders, lathes).
- Inspect work using precision measuring instruments to ensure quality standards.
- Maintain a safe and organized workspace.
- Train and mentor apprentices as needed.
- Completion of a 4-year state apprenticeship or equivalent experience (5-10 years) as a tool and die or mold maker.
- Proficient in the use of inspection and production equipment.
- Strong understanding of tool steels, heat treatment, and geometric tolerances.
- Familiarity with EDM, HSM, and CAD software; proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Salary : $30 - $40
