Job Title: Medical Management Specialist
Location: North Chicago, IL (Remote, but must be located in North Chicago for member visits/assessments)
Job Type: 6-Month Contract to Hire
Position Overview:
The Medical Management Specialist will oversee medical management and health education for customers enrolled in government health care programs. Responsibilities include gathering and analyzing data for regulatory reports and representing the company to members.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: RN (3 years clinical care) or LPC/LMSW (2 years clinical practice)
- Experience: 3 years in wellness or managed care, presenting clinical issues to members/physicians
- Skills: Strong communication, analytical, and data analysis skills
- Requirements: Valid license, driver’s license, transportation, and willingness to travel
- Technical: Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and web-based applications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in patient education, condition management, and Transition of Care
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Case Management certification or other health care certifications
