Construction Project Coordinator
Position Description
Washington Patriot Construction (WA Patriot) is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team in our Home Office in Gig Harbor. The ideal candidate will provide technical and limited administrative support to the project team and manage limited scope projects as outlined in the list of duties and responsibilities.

General Information
Full Time Position: 40 hours/week
Reports to: Project Manager and Project Engineer
Salary Range: $50,000 – $70,000 per year, depending on qualifications
Job Location: Gig Harbor, WA
Qualifications
- Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year in office at commercial construction company
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Project)
- Proficiency using Adobe Acrobat and Bluebeam
- Preferences:
- Experience using computerized scheduling software (Microsoft Project)
- Procore Experience
- Attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Excellent communication skills – both written and orally
Project Coordinator Role/Responsibilities
- Prepare project-related correspondence; letter, memo or e-mail
- Consistent follow up with vendors on all project related action items
- Process technical product and shop drawing submittals electronically
- Distribute and track project related technical materials in conjunction with the Project Manager and Project Engineer
- Maintain all project logs utilizing Word documents and Excel spreadsheets, including request for information, proposal request, cost event, project cost reports, etc.
- Assist in tracking and reviewing change orders
- Assist in coordinating and scheduling meetings
- Assist in the coordinating and preparing monthly project progress reports; i.e., projected cost reports, schedules and status reports
- Update contract documents during construction
- Attend at project meetings. Produce and distribute meeting minutes
- Process and track vendor invoices
- Perform quantity take off and cost estimating (with guidance)
- Produce closeout manuals
- Use company’s Procore site for posting bids and technical project data
- Manage select limited scope projects
- All other duties as assigned
