Job Responsibilities/Duties
Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS) seeks an Operations Specialist who will work as part of a team that is responsible for ensuring that the use of the Resource Utilization Analysis Tool (RUAT) program is consistent with company policies and procedures. This position will help drive a continuous improvement initiative for the effective use of field personnel at the Hanford Tank Farms.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure the RUAT program is used effectively and in compliance with established procedures.
- Assists in developing and implementing efficient and effective strategies for assessment performance.
- Conduct thorough investigations, surveys, reviews, and assessments of RUAT use.
- Perform detailed assessments and compile data to develop meaningful metrics.
- Work with other organizations to engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance resource utilization of field personnel.
- Provide recommendations to management based on data analysis and findings.
Skills Needed:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Proficient in managing and analyzing data within software programs to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.
- Strong sense of ethics and integrity to ensure compliance efforts align with company values and RUAT program obligations.
- Ability to collaborate with other departments and build relationships to facilitate compliance efforts.
Please Note: This position is being advertised under the current Tank Operations Contractor, Washington River Protection Solutions (WRPS). However, now that transition activities have begun a candidate selected for employment may be hired under the incoming contractor, Hanford Tank Waste Operations & Closure (H2C) contract. Further details will be provided during the hiring process.
Required Qualifications
Grade 13:
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Business, Accounting, or related field
Grade 14:
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Business, Accounting, or related field; and
- Two (2) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Grade 15:
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Business, Accounting, or related field; and
- Three (3) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Desired Qualifications
* Experience in conducting operational assessments and compliance evaluations is preferred.
- Knowledge and/or use of the RUAT process and software program.
- Power BI experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point, Share Point)
Compensation & Benefits
In accordance with the company's philosophy on compensation for exempt and salaried non-exempt employees, WRPS takes into consideration a variety of factors when determining initial salary to include assigned job scope and responsibility, a candidate's qualifications as compared to internal comparators performing in a similar role, and the external labor market. A salary offer will be made within the targeted hiring range posted. Note a candidate's prior salary history will not be taken into consideration.
Hiring Range Minimum: $66,338
Hiring Range Maximum: $101,175
