Description
The Speech-Language Pathologist will perform evaluations, develop and implement a treatment plan for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings with populations of all ranges, including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The candidate must be competent with a wide variety of speech, language, pragmatic, cognitive, feeding/swallowing, and voice disorders. Experience with Modified Barium Swallows preferred. The candidate must have good communication and interaction skills to promote positive relationships with patients, families, visitors, coworkers, physicians. Must be able to provide training and education to patients, families, and staff. Will be credentialed in Illinois Early Intervention to provide in home speech services for patients 0-3 years old.
