Position Summary
The eCommerce Team Member is to accurately research, list, photograph, and provide attractive descriptions of jewelry and various items on the E-Commerce website. This position must have great attention to detail and the ability to creatively market items to maximize their value. This position is also responsible for shipping the won items to customers by using effective packaging that will ensure the safety of the product to its destination. The position will work closely with the eCommerce Management team to continually improve the department, increasing sales, and process improvements.
Essential Duties include the following.

- Participates well with the eCommerce team and displays a cooperative attitude with all team members.
- Maintains excellent attendance; consistently is at work when scheduled on time and works the entire shift
- Provides excellent service to customers and co-workers

- Follows instruction in written or oral form; or asks questions to receive clarification.
- The ability to problem solve as needed.
- Understands and performs basic math; Addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, decimals, and common fractions.
- Performs duties in an efficient manner requiring a minimal amount of supervision or time to complete each task.
- Ability to meet the quota set by the Leadership and eCommerce team.
- Meets productivity standards – strives to increase production.
- Demonstrates attention to detail with accuracy and thoroughness.
- Computer and technology literate –Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Browsers, Digital Cameras, File Transfers, digital scales.
Lister responsibilities:
- Composes accurate, well-written, and well-stated descriptions for various unique donated items using proper grammar.
- Communicates well in written form or orally.
- Takes clear, appropriate, and well-composed pictures of items being offered on the auction site.
- Researches unknown items online quickly and accurately.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Understand and follow all listing protocols before, during, and after an auction is completed.
Shipper responsibilities:
- Positively represents Wabash Valley Goodwill with excellent customer service when interacting with customers for every interaction.
- Understand and follow all shipping protocols after an auction is completed.
- Chooses the best packaging method that will save materials and time.
- Looks for ways to improve the processes and procedures that promote quality, cost-savings, and time-savings
- Accurately tracks shipping materials for use and places orders for items needed.
- Identifies and resolves promptly, and used creative solutions to packaging problems as needed
- Manages customer service tickets submitted by online shoppers.
- Ensures accuracy when shipping; double-check that the item being shipped is accurately represented on the packing slip.

Education and or Experience
High School Diploma or GED Preferred. Computer experience – keyboarding; typing skills. Experience with auctions sites a plus
