Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must have knowledge of and work in a safe manner.
- Able to read numbers and letters in sequential order.
About the Role:
The Material Handler Level 1 associates perform tasks such as moving boards/sticks/components from location to location by hand based on the specifications of the material.
Your Responsibilities:
- Maintains a consistent flow of materials as necessary.
- Assures that materials are within quality criteria and properly orientated.
- Process non-conforming materials per process requirements.
- Fixes jams and or piles of materials on conveyors and in machinery.
- May be required to do other duties as requested by coordinator or supervisor.
- Performs some housekeeping in work area as needed.

- Requires minimum of 9-10 hours standing, walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, with a full range of body mechanics/movements
- Occasionally required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work in an environment requiring use of stairs and climbing in and out of trucks or working in tight spaces.
- Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE)
